Tax Analyst

Our company is looking for an experienced Partnership Tax professional to join our team. Our Tax Analyst will always act with integrity and assist the Tax Operations Manager with preparing accurate and timely tax schedules/returns to facilitate our continued investments in growth companies that add value globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster internal relationships to increase productivity and alignment with company strategy
  • Gather and analyze data and assist in the preparation of tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports for income, sales and use, personal property tax and business licenses
  • Maintain and reconcile the tax general ledger, including tax fixed asset books
  • Maintain the current platform of tax technology tools and related processes
  • Participate in value added projects in collaboration with other team members and in alignment with the company’s business strategies
  • Stay current with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, joining professional organizations and networks, and studying professional publications
  • Build cross functional relationships and develop an understanding of the business to identify opportunities or assess risk

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of domestic federal, state and local income, sales & use and personal property tax regulations
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information
  • Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP income tax provision principles.
  • Knowledge of US Federal, state, local and international income tax rules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline such as Accounting, with 1-3 years of Public Accounting or large corporation tax experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and develop and implement solutions to income tax related business issues.
  • Proficiency in excel and data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of OneSource compliance, OneSource Provision and SAP software preferred

Preferred:

  • CPA
  • Experience with tax research tools and tax preparation software

Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000
